What is the best spout style?
The spout style can have an impact on the faucet's functionality, so it is an important aspect to consider. While models with a straight or low arching spout are typically smaller and less expensive, they aren't the most convenient when you are trying to clean/fill large pots. Models with high arching or gooseneck spouts allow for more clearance space, so they can easily accommodate large pots. However, with high-arching spouts, you just want to make sure that your sink is big and deep enough that water won't be splashing out of it. In addition to the shape of the spout, we also suggest looking for faucets that have a swing spout with at least 180° of rotation. Swing spouts make it easier to reach all areas of your sink and can be moved out of the way when necessary.
