Overview
With many of the same great features as the adult version, the Giro G9 Junior is a great choice for parents who want to keep their kids safe while skiing or boarding. The G-9 Junior also uses the In-Form Fit System, so you can adjust the size as they get older and get the most out of your money. The helmet comes in a variety of bright, fun colors/designs that appeal to kids and make it easier for parents to spot them on the mountain. Not only is this helmet durable, comfortable and warm, the ventilation can also be adjusted as the weather changes. This is one helmet that you won't have to fight your kid to wear.
The Giro G9 Junior can be purchased online at giro.com for $80.
Product Report Card Grade
We give the Giro G9 Junior Helmet an A- because it is an excellent, durable helmet that offers kids top-of-the-line protection and comfort while skiing or snowboarding. It features an adjustable ventilation system, and it also has an adjustable fit system, so you don’t have to worry about your kids growing out of it in one season. Additionally, we love that the G9 helmet comes in a variety of bright colors/designs, so you can easily spot your kids while on the mountain. We had to deduct a few points because it is a bit pricey and only comes with a 1-year warranty.
